We are dedicated to serve our community in Christian County.  We offer the following services:

 

  • Rental/Mortgage Payment Assistance
  • Electric/Gas/Water Payment Assistance
  • Medication Assistance
  • Food Pantry (We are a Feeding America Agency)
  • We also advocate for our clients and make referrals to other agencies

 

Appointments are preferred.

 

Ineligible Assistance

 

We can not assist of the utilities have already been disconnected. However, PACS may be able to provide assistance.

 

We do not assist with cable, internet, telephone, cell phone, insurance, car payments, motel payments, car payments, medical bills, etc.

 

Criteria for Assistance:

 

  • You must be a resident of Christian County.
  • You must have paid your bill on your own for the past 2 months.
  • You must have lived in your residence for a miniimum of 60 days.
  • You must provide documentation of current bill or landlord for provided by AMH
  • Provide photo ID for all members of the household, as well as Social Secuirty Cards.
  • Documentation of your current crisis and have a plan for the next month to insure that you won't remain in a state of crisis, this allows us to help more people.

 

 

****Please don't wait until the day before or day of disconnect or eviction. Although we have relationship with many landlords and the utility companies, your case must be reviewed and providing all documetation has been turned in by you, it takes approximately 48 hours to provide a check made out to the landlord or the utility company.  All medication requests require  a form to be filled out by your physician and all scripts are filled by Cayce's pharmacy only because they bill us direcftly.  We typically do not fill narcotics and other pain relievers.  However, we can provide you with documentation for patient assistance in order to get your meds directly from the manufacturer.
